Let them have cake...
As life goes, naturally, politics gets forced in somewhere. I was on YouTube and a Hillary ad came up, and a thought about the education plan struck me. Now I may wrong on this, but it sounds like college is going to be made a public good. And that kinda concerns me, (assuming it would indeed be like a public good), considering that public goods have a strong tendency to get abused, and I'm thinking of Denmark's college plan. 4 year degrees are taking 6 years to complete, for instance. There's a lot to talk about, but that comparison, though not perfect, may apply a little too well.

Donut Hell
Homer Simpson reeallly likes donuts. You might say he gets a LOT of utility from eating them. You might even say that his marginal utility is NOT diminishing, like the law of diminishing returns suggests. Here's what that would look like:
Other fun things in here include rule of law and property rights: Lisa suggests that Homer has the right to a fair trial, and Satan (Ned Flanders) says "This is always so much easier in Mexico," illustrating how institutions play a role in economic development.
